Excellent food for good money

We ordered two burgers for lunch. They are not made in the classic way, but they are delicious. The bun is more like flatbread, but it's more our taste than these puffed MC buns. A real alternative to the usual fast food, especially during lockdown.

The food is very tasty, a large selection of dishes, special requests are catered for and the service is very friendly. Recommendation

We haven't eaten so well in a long time and at such affordable prices. The sauerbraten was tender as butter. A real insider tip!

We ate here yesterday for our wedding anniversary, became aware of the program "Rosins Restaurants" and have not regretted the visit. The food was really delicious, the service was very nice, even the boss was seen at the table. I had dur.a. a gratinated feta and garlic soup, I'll try to cook that, it was a real culinary delight. I have one tiny drawback to note, our glasses were empty and it took a little too long for this to be noticed, but I think that if the hosts read this they will take the chance and work on it. ;-) So, otherwise I can I only recommend to the inclined reader to go out for a meal here!

We happened to be in the area and went especially for dinner. Very nice ambience! Food was very tasty! The cocktails were well made too! The boss kept coming out of the kitchen in person to ask guests whether everything was OK. That leaves a very good impression! Keep it up!!! ?

The menu is a good mix between traditional country inn and modern cuisine. We were in the patio. The building is in need of renovation.

Excellent home-style cuisine. Very nice service. The ambience, especially in the patio, can still be improved, but that makes up for the good food. I would love to come back.

When you find out that a chef and an apprentice in their third year want to learn a homemade hollandaise sauce from a TV chef, you also know how pikeperch with red cabbage comes on the menu. Brrrr ...! But of course the unsuspecting babble again about "delicious food". The "beer garden" looks like the east side of Bernauer Strasse before 1989.

Unfortunately, it is a shame that some of the people who have never been there comment negatively, because the food is always very tasty, with changing dishes and seasonal. With Rosin, the host has also shown how personable he is. Keep it up! We look forward to coming back to the Kastanienhof in the future.

Small village restaurant, quiet location, great food, very friendly. Unfortunately there is a star deduction in the price range. A little too expensive for my taste, but I would still recommend it to everyone!

Unfortunately a little disappointing. The drink prices are absolutely exaggerated. 5.40 € for a 0.4ltr apple spritzer and 5.80 € for a 0.4ltr cola are, in my opinion, prices of upscale gastronomy. Here, however, neither ambience, food, nor service are upscale. Also when eating, which I always remembered well, I was a little disappointed. I had salmon with pasta, cream sauce. In order to get any taste at all, or to be able to distinguish fish from pasta, I had to salt a lot, although I don't like salt at all. In my opinion, something has to happen here on all corners, otherwise the guests will stay away at some point.
